Terminal Free Connector. The J-FAT-S-i series connector offers advantages over conventional 'crimp and poke' connectors, as the wire is simply stripped and pushed into the connector without the need to crimp a terminal onto the wire prior to insertion.
Terminal free connector
The connector features an internal spring lock mechanism which removes the need to have a separate crimp terminal. Just strip the wire and insert it into the connector, whilst deflecting the locking spring with the finger friendly hand tool; J-FAT-OT
Intermateability
This connector is interchangeable and mates with the JST JFA (J300 Series) Connector.

High Durability
The J-FAT-S-i connector has been designed and manufactured to withstand 100 insertion / withdrawal cycles.
Excellent contact reliability
The internal locking spring has been developed to provide a gas tight and reliable interface between the wire the connector.
Relative high current
This connector has a current rating of 12A, when using AWG # 14 wire in combination with the 3 circuit variation of this product.
Note, The actual current value is dependent on the number of circuits and the wire.
