JST Introduces the PBV connector series to its extensive range of 2mm pitch diSConnectable crimp style wire to board connectors. Offering high performance and versatility, this robust connector system offers top and side entry mounting types. The PCB header of the PBV connector has been engineered with a secure internal locking mechanism. This design allows for a large surface area to facilitate vacuum pick and place application, thus eliminating the need for a separate tape/cap element. Available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 circuits. In order to maintain the suction area the 2-circuit product uses the 3 circuit product with the middle pin removed. The PCB layout of this series is compatible with that of the conventional PA connector SMT product, and utilizes the PA Family Series contacts.
