Adels extends SMD range with moulding free connector

Adels contact adds the new SMDblank version to its existing SMD connector portfolio. The SMDblank is an innovative concept that offers a two way connection in one. On the one hand, a connection can be made horizontally with solid or flexible conductors. Alternatively, depending on the customer’s needs, it is also possible to use the vertical feed-through version for solid conductors.

With a height of only 2,5mm the SMDblank is a very small connector type. Despite, the connector is very suitable for processing by pick & place machines.

The flexible SMD bank series is available in the following versions:

SMDflat 345 LED-SMD connectors with pin spacing of 4,0mm

SMDflat 545 LED-SMD connectors with pin spacing of 6,0mm

Flexible plug-in installation with the compact AC164 from Adels Contact

Adels contact markets the AC164, a compact plug & socket system for flexible installations. By using strainrelief bridges on two positions, the AC164 system is able to manage various cable diameter sizes whilst ensuring a safe connection for a broad range of lighting applications.

The AC164 is available in a 2, 3, 4 and 5-pole version with cable diameter possibilities going from 5,0mm (2 poles) up to 11,5mm (5-poles).
