JST J-FAT-S-XL connector. This 8.0mm pitch wire to board connector provides innovative new features compared to other standard terminal block connections.
As opposed to a traditional SCrew-termination method, the J-FAT-S-XL enables the wires to be attached via a unique spring-clamp receptacle. This 2-piece system method provides a secure contact retention and protection against wires getting accidentally pulled out. This is a terminal free connector, the wire is simply stripped and pushed into the connector by the use of a small hand tool.
Available in 3 and 6 circuits, the J-FAT-S-XL connector has a current rating of 23A AC,DC when using AWG#10 with the 3 circuit connector.
Excellent contacting reliability
Spring provides the gas-tight area between wire and terminal, and the stable high reliable contact is given.
Terminal free connector
The connector features an internal spring lock mechanism which removes the need to have a separate crimp terminal. Just strip the wire and insert it into the connector, whilst deflecting the locking spring with the finger friendly hand tool; J-FAT-OT-XL
High durability performance
100 cycles of durability is guaranteed.
High current
Current rating is 23A when using AWG#10 and 3-circuit connector. The actual current value is depended on the number of circuits and the wire.
UL/TUV Standard
UL 1977 and UL 1059 will be acquired. TUV will be acquired.
